1st Hegedus’ PALMIK ONE DIRECTION FOR NEWSOUTHILL Stood alone but a worthy winner and was my BPIS. 8mths fawn boy who shows lots of promise. Lovely depth of chest, neat feet and well muscled which enabled him to move with purpose. Shall watch his future with interest.

3 very promising puppies who could change places on another day.
1st Prices WHISTERFIELD EASY RIDER 10mths pale fawn, nice size, correct arch over the loin and good spring of pastern. Pleasing head and expression with lovely dark eye and correct ears.

1st Worth’s CROSSCOP LOVE STRUCK ROMEO just 12 months dark brindle parti. Another very promising youngster. Lovely for size, good bone and deep brisket giving a correctly filled in front. Correct arch over the loin and good rear angulation. Moved true coming and going.

1st Neale’s STORMALONG ROMANTIC ROMEO Young fawn brindle parti. Masculine head with strong muzzle and correct bite. Well muscled hind quarters with well let down hocks. Sound coming and going but would prefer more reach in front.

1st Cutter & Lubin’s WINDFLY WARHORSE FOR CHOSOVI was third in puppy but had settled on the move here. Slightly larger than I would prefer in a puppy but has excellent depth of chest with correct underline, low set hocks and neat feet.

Most handsome of heads with dark eyes and an alert expression. Beautifully balanced throughout both standing and on the move where he strode round the ring driving from behind and reaching out low in front.

She combines balance with power and strength, yet still remains elegant and graceful. Correct topline which she kept on the move with her true daisy cutting action. Pushed hard in the challenge.

Two lovely bitches who both deserved a first prize but 2nd was carrying just a little too much weight for me today.
1st Bass’s BLANDINGS TREACLE TART Pretty brindle parti who covers the ground both standing and moving. Deep brisket with good underline and arch over her loin. Neat feet and well sprung pasterns. Unfortunately didn’t move today in the challenge as I know she can.

1st Julian’s BLUESTREAK BLONDE AMBITION Fawn girl who I have long admired. A real classical whippet for me. Very elegant and curvy yet still looks like she could do a days work in the field. Lovely long neck into well laid shoulders, excellent bone, good spring of pastern and neat feet. Perfect arch over her loin flowing into well muscled hind quarters with good bend of stifle and well let down hocks. Moved with a long, low easy stride whilst holding her topline. Best Bitch and Reserve Best in Show
